All Standard
discounted mail must have an approved form of “Move Update” applied to
mailings starting November 2008 "Flat"
Addressing Standards
Most “flat” sized mail will be required to have the address positioned within specific locations on the mail piece starting March 2009 Intelligent
Mail Barcode
This unique barcode will be required on all mail pieces to qualify for maximum automation discounts in May 2009. There will be different service levels with specific rates for each. Automated
Reply Mail
All Reply mail must be automated if the reply is included in the initial mailing claiming automation discounts, Postal
Rates - Annual Adjustment
USPS adjusted postal
rates on 5/12/08 and has implemented an annual review most likely to be
